Whitening
Professional whitening uses a controlled, higher-concentration bleaching gel than over-the-counter products, applied under supervision so results are effective, even, and don't damage your enamel or gums.
What It Is
Over time, teeth pick up surface stains from coffee, tea, tobacco and food pigments, as well as deeper internal yellowing that comes naturally with age. Professional whitening addresses both, using a peroxide-based gel that breaks down stain molecules within the enamel and dentin.
The goal at Aura is a natural-looking result — brighter, not artificially white. Shade progress is checked throughout so the outcome flatters your face rather than looking obviously 'done'. In-chair sessions give faster results; take-home kits (custom trays with clinical-strength gel) let you control the pace at home.
Why You May Need This
The Process
Your current tooth shade is recorded so progress can be measured accurately.
A protective barrier is applied to shield your gums from the whitening gel.
Clinical-strength gel is applied in-chair, or you're fitted with custom trays for take-home use.
Results are reviewed against your target shade, with further sessions if needed.
You're given a short list of stain-causing foods/drinks to limit for 48 hours to help the result set.
